At Southern California Landscape Supply, we take pride in offering high-quality landscaping materials, including natural stone, mulch, soil, and decorative rock. However, due to the nature of these materials and variations in digital displays, actual colors, textures, and quality may differ from images shown online or in-store samples.

To ensure transparency and protect both our business and customers, we have implemented the following Product Color and Quality Policy to outline expectations before purchase.

Policy Statement

By purchasing from Southern California Landscape Supply, customers acknowledge and accept that:

  • Natural Variations: Products such as stone, woodchips, and mulch may have slight variations in color, texture, and composition due to natural sourcing.

  • Digital Display Differences: Colors shown in images online may differ from the actual product due to screen settings, lighting, and photographic representation.

  • Batch Differences: Bulk materials such as gravel, sand, and soil may vary slightly between different shipments or seasons.

This policy applies to all purchases made in-store, online, or via phone orders and serves as a binding agreement upon checkout.

Website Procedure for Client Acknowledgment

Pop-Up Disclaimer Before Checkout

A pop-up acknowledgment will appear before finalizing an online order:
“Please confirm that you understand and accept that color, texture, and size may vary from images due to natural differences in materials. No refunds or exchanges will be given based on minor discrepancies.”
Customers must check a box to acknowledge and proceed with the purchase.

Terms & Conditions Update

The Terms & Conditions section of the website will include a dedicated disclaimer detailing color variations, batch differences, and return policies to ensure legal protection for the business.

Order Confirmation Email Reminder

Customers will receive an order confirmation email with the following disclaimer:
“Thank you for purchasing from Southern California Landscape Supply. Please note that natural variations in color and texture are expected with our materials. No refunds or returns will be accepted for minor variations. If you have concerns, we recommend visiting our location before placing an order.”

In-Store Sample Policy

  • Customers are encouraged to visit our supply yard to inspect materials before purchasing bulk orders.

  • Sample requests will include a disclaimer stating:
    “Samples represent the general look of the product but may not reflect all natural variations found in bulk purchases.”

Return & Refund Policy Related to Color and Quality

To protect the business, we enforce the following return and refund policies:
✅ All sales are final for bulk materials such as soil, mulch, and gravel.
✅ No refunds or exchanges will be given due to slight color or texture variations.
✅ Returns are only accepted if a product is incorrectly delivered (e.g., wrong material) or is significantly different from what was described.
✅ Customers must submit any disputes within 3 business days of receiving their order, along with proof of purchase and photographic evidence.

Customer Support & Dispute Resolution

Customers who believe they received an incorrect product must:

  1. Contact our office within 3 business days at (951) 538-3338 or email socallandscapesupply@aol.com

  2. Provide a photo of the received material compared to the order details.

  3. Our team will review the claim and determine if a refund, exchange, or store credit is applicable.
